The following guidelines are binding on all users of the wTc and the act of signing up for or posting any content to this site constitutes an agreement to follow all of these rules. Violation of any of these rules may lead to editing or removal of your content or revocation of your access permissions, at the discretion of wTc staff.
[-] General Guidelines
- Do unto others as you would have done unto you. (Don't be a dick.)
- Contribute. (Don't lurk.)
- Keep things neat. (Don't be careless.)
- All use of this site is voluntary, and the wTc staff disclaims all liability, warranty, and responsibility related to your use of this site or posting of content. Materials found to be infringing on the legal rights of third parties may be removed without notice.
- Follow the law. (Don't post content that is illegal under USA Federal, Texas, Florida, or New York state law, your own country or state law, or our host's Terms of Service

- All content on the site is subject to reorganization, editing, or deleting by the administrators as is necessary to maintain an orderly site.
[-] Guidelines for Blogs & Discussion
- Blogs need to be written in proper English with proper spelling, grammar, formatting, and readability. Blog posts that do not follow these guidelines will be edited or removed.
- If you create your own Blogs, they are your own business. As long as you are not posting content that violates the law or our host's Terms of Service, you are completely responsible for your own content. If you are posting such content, it (and potentially, you) will be removed.
- If a given blog or post has rules for commenting specified by the creator thereof, follow them.
- Hostility, disruption, and immaturity are not welcome. (See General Guidelines #1).
[-] Guidelines for Wiki
- Damaging or deleting existing content will not be tolerated. If you believe you have accidentally damaged something, please notify the administrator immediately so it can be rolled back.
- Keep your pages organized. If you need help with this, please contact the administrator.
- Use common sense if there are page conflicts.
- For example, if you wish to create a page for the star system Tau Ceti for use in a fictional project, check to see what content might already exist on that page. If there is already a page for it, consider the following options:
- Split the page into separate sections for Tau Ceti IRL, Tau Ceti in the Legacy Cycle, and Tau Ceti in Your Universe, or
- Create a disambiguation page at Tau Ceti with a section for Tau Ceti (IRL) and links to Tau Ceti (Legacy Cycle) and Tau Ceti (Your Universe).
- Messy, disconnected, or stub pages may be edited or deleted.
[-] Other points to consider
- This site is for adults. There may be things that offend you. If this occurs, leave that page and find something else to do.
- If you have a problem with your children viewing this site, watch your kids. We will not do so for you, alter our site content, or respond to complaints of this nature.
- Anything posted on the blogs (except fiction and projects) is fair game for analysis and dissection. "Beliefs" will be held in much lower esteem than "reality", if the two are in obvious contradiction. Personal attacks are not tolerated, however, attack on something one happens to believe is not the same thing. If this bothers you, do not post on discussions.
- References may be made to logical fallacies, generally in the context of which logical fallacies your post contains. If this bothers you, do not post on discussions.
- If your blog post has an external source, please link it and quote enough of it that the reader need not go offsite. Avoid video links. The purpose of this blog is discussion within our own community.
