Internet Relay Chat is a chatroom system that's been around nearly as long as the Internet itself. The wTc operates an open IRC channel for our users, located at
irc.freenode.net#wtc. Please

- Add a nickname.
- Type the CAPTCHA (messy letters) in the box below the CAPTCHA.
- Click Connect.
- For other options on how to connect, look below.

[+] Connect Using a Browser Plugin
- If you have Chatzilla, Opera, or other browser or plugin capable of recognizing IRC links, simply click irc://irc.freenode.net/wtc

[+] Connect Using Starsiege
- Download the updated master.cs file and unzip it to your C:\Dynamix\Starsiege\scripts folder. Get it here.
- Delete /Starsiege/defaultPrefs.cs.
- Load Starsiege.
- Go to Multiplayer > Internet Chat.
- Insert your username and real name.
- Select the Server irc.freenode.net:6667. If it does not show up in the list, you will not be able to connect in this fashion.
- Click OK, select the channel #wtc, and click OK.
[+] Connect Using Trillian
- Locate "Identities and Connections" in the Trillian Preferences screen.
- "Add a new connection" and select IRC as the type of connection.
- Click the new IRC connection and use whatever username and Nickname you want in the two fields.
- Click "Settings", and use irc.freenode.net as your Hostname, and set it to connect through port 6667.
- Go back to Identities and Connections, set to "Connect on startup" if you want the Trillian IRC client to sign on when you open up Trillian.
- Now that you've done all that, you should see a white circle in the bottom of the main Trillian window; that is your IRC connection. If you didn't set it to start on startup, all you have to do to get it up and running is click the circle, click connect. You can join channels by clicking on the circle and clicking "Join Channel". You do not need the # symbol in front of the name of the channel, Trillian will add it for you if you forget to.

Teamspeak is a voicechat client. The wTc operates open Teamspeak channels for our users. Currently, our servers are hosted by DusterSteve and FeddEx. For instructions on connecting to these servers, see below. Please

- Download and install the Teamspeak 2 client appropriate for your system here
. (Choose Updated Binary.)
- Teamspeak 3 is a different, incompatible program and we are not currently using it.
- Load Teamspeak.
- Click Connections > Connect.
- Right-click "Servers" and select "Add Server". Type a name for this server and then click on it.
- Fill in the server address you wish to connect to (see below) and select a username. You do not need a login name or password unless you have registered that name on the server.
- Click Connect.
